OVERVIEW
Topics will include prevention education around THC strengths, new forms, such as edibles, concentrates, and stronger plants, as well as information and resources to address keeping youth safe and reducing access and availability for youth by parents and other adults.
Objectives:
- Participants will have an increased knowledge of the varieties of cannabis and THC levels in cannabis products.
- Participants will have an increased understanding of the concerns about cannabis access and availability for youth.
This training has been approved for continuing education hours for CASAC renewal and initial credentialing and renewal for CPP/CPS Section 1.
About The Presenter
Kein is the Team Leader for Community Education for Prevention Network. He has been an employee with Prevention network for the past four years and has worked in various programs in his time with the agency, including Teen Institute, Onondaga County STOP DWI, and Onondaga Community College’s Alcohol and Other Drugs program. Kein is trained in Botvin’s Life Skills, Too Good for Drugs, Project Success, Hidden Mischief, and much more. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing from St John Fisher College and 14 years of combined experience serving youth, families, and the community at large.
