The next Over the Edge rappeling event, sponsored by the United Way of NNY, will be held June 17 at Midtown Towers in Watertown.

The event will allow 90 people to test their courage while raising money for the nonprofit partners of the United Way.

“We had more than 70 people go Over the Edge in September at Key Bank, which is 60 feet high,” said Bob Gorman, CEO of the United Way. “Everyone at the time said they want to do it again, but with a taller building. So we’ll see how courageous everyone is when they are 155 feet in the air overlooking all of Watertown.”

Participants can sign up by either calling the United Way at 315-788-5631 or registering online. The registration fee is $25 and participants are given a social media page so they can raise a minimum $1,000 participation fee from family and friends.
